Abstract: We show that spin-orbit scattering off an isolated magnetic impurity in a singlet dx2-y2 superconductor generates a dxy order parameter with locally broken time-reversal symmetry. The consequences of the induced dxy component are orbital charge currents and a localized magnetic field in the vicinity of the impurity.
